Harvard Club of Italy

Dear Harvard Alumni in Italy, 
 

The Harvard Club of Italy (HCI) has entered a period of renewed engagement and reorganization. To this end, the newly elected Board of Directors approved a new set of by-laws providing a full Board composed of up to fifteen Directors, as well as elections every three years. 

The Club’s core mission is to bring together Harvard Alumni in Italy, strengthening the local network through educational programming, professional connections, and shared Crimson spirit.  
 

We look forward to expanding: 

  • Educational engagement featuring thought leaders and experts, including Harvard faculty 

  • Cultural events reflecting the richness of cultural exchanges between the Harvard community and Italian society at large 

  • Networking opportunities including future Global Networking Nights, Welcome to Your City, and a range of formal and informal professional and social events 


To support this vision, we are holding elections for the following Board positions: 

  • Community Engagement and Events Director (Northern Italy) 

  • Community Engagement and Events Director (Central and Southern Italy) 

  • Memberships and Young Alumni Relations Director 

  • Marketing, Communications and Website Director 

  • Stakeholders Relations & Mentorships Director 

  • Business Liaison Director – Fostering relationships with HBS and the Executive Network 

  • Legal and Government Affairs Liaison Director – Fostering relationships with HLS and HKS 

  • Science, Technology and Design Liaison Director – Fostering relationships with GSAS, SEAS and GSD 

  • Health & Life Sciences Liaison Director – Fostering relationships with HMS, HSDM and HSPH 

  • Education & Humanities Liaison Director – Fostering relationships with Harvard College and Departments, the Radcliffe Institute, Harvard Extension School, GSE and HDS 


If you are interested in any of the above positions, please complete the nomination form by Sunday, 31 May. You will be asked to submit a statement of intent (200 words or less) on why you wish to serve in this position. Harvard Alumni and HAA Associate Members (as defined by the Harvard Alumni Association), are encouraged to apply!
