Souls of Lonely Places: the Old Charm Unbroken

Harvard grad and University of Miami Professor of Classics John Paul Russo will give us a talk on the “Souls of Lonely Places: Old Charm Unbroken". Weaving historical, social, religious, and cultural commentary, Prof. Russo will share with us the charm and beauty of smaller Italian cities and towns, the ones mainly off the beaten track: where, as Margaret Fuller said, the “old charm is unbroken”, in the older Italy, the Italy of the Italians.
