Harvard World MUN Parade of Peace along the streets of Rome

Right after Pope Francis hearing, WorldMUN participants will be offered a quick lunch by Coldiretti and then march along the streets of Rome, each one under his/her national flag. Quite a large Harvard delegation will lead the parade, under Harvard insignia. From Vatican City to Castel Sant'Angelo, passing by the Capitol Hill up to reach the Coliseum, where the crowd will celebrate in a unique setting. Join the Harvard group, interacting with 115 nationalities.

For a whole week more than 2,500 undergrads will be in Rome for such an amazing and participated event. Harvard World Model United Nations (WorldMUN) is the most internationally diverse college-level Model UN conference. Every year 2,500+ university students from over 115 countries attend WorldMUN in a different location around the world. Past locations include Puebla (Mexico), Beijing (China), Belo Horizonte (Brazil), Sharm el-Sheikh (Egypt), Taipei (Taiwan), Singapore, and Vancouver (Canada). Through lively and informed debate, exciting social events, and a unique conference spirit, the WorldMUN experience reaches across cultures to inspire both cooperation and friendship. The Harvard World MUN is a huge organizational effort entirely run by undergrads. Hosting and putting things together for almost 3k people is indeed an achievement in itself. Participants will debate and negotiate for a full week, and eventually received by Pope Francis. Also, a parade under Harvard insignia and national flags from all over the world will be celebrated at the Coliseum with regional authorities. This is indeed a very special occasion, particularly if you are thinking of your children either they be teenager or in their twenties. Please feel free to join in with your family.
